MarktstadWalk
Purmerend's most enjoyable walking event is coming up again! The MarktstadWalk will take place on Saturday 11 October 2025.
For experienced walkers, there are wonderful 15- and 25-kilometre routes that will take you through Purmerend, the Beemster and the surrounding villages. Especially for families, there is the pleasant 6-kilometre FamilyWalk, ideal for young and old. Do you walk with a rollator? Then the RollatorLoop of 2.5 to 3 kilometres is a perfect and casual way to join in.
All walks start and finish at the atmospheric Koemarkt in Purmerend.
Whether you opt for a short, pleasant walk or a sporty challenge: the MarktstadWalk offers something for everyone!
