Saturday 10 January 2026 marked the 10th anniversary of the death of music icon David Bowie. On 14 November, Local Heroes will pay a grand tribute at PX. This special evening pays tribute to the artist who influenced generations with his groundbreaking music, style and artistic vision.
This concert honours not only Bowie's music, but also his lasting influence on art, fashion and culture. Bowie's music continues to resonate with older fans and younger generations alike. This evening will be a joint celebration of his legacy.
Local Heroes is a band made up of local musical heroes Joey Karregat, Dick de Boer, Cor Bond, Ramon Tol, Chris Klein, Sandrine Snoek, Kees Mol, Diane Kwakman, Dirk Hoogland and Bart Mooijer. The vocal and physical likeness of singer Cor Bond makes for an authentic rendition of Bowie's music. Local Heroes bring back the magic of Bowie's live show with respect for the original but with a personal interpretation.
