Harmen Veerman: My Songbook

Harmen Veerman has been a familiar voice in the Volendam music scene for years. After many wonderful years with the band Left Site, The Tribute to The Catsband and many other projects, he is now on stage solo with a particularly personal programme: MY SONGBOOK.

A beautiful journey through his musical life, inspiration and surprises.

In My Songbook, Harmen takes you along the songs of his youth. Music that touched and inspired him. His show consists of songs he has sung himself over the years but also beautiful songs he has never performed before. You will hear a mix of, among others; Left Side hits, new compositions of his own, music from his younger years and, of course, a few gems by his brother Cees, singer and composer with The Cats. The songs Harmen will play from his youth are, according to him, among the best in pop history. And Why? He will share that with you in his show.

Harmen starts the show small and pure, just guitar and vocals. Gradually, it becomes more. This creates a personal performance in which he takes full musical freedom
