A stimulating exploration of the ever-changing relationship between city and nature. The theme of urbanisation and the redefinition of nature and landscape take centre stage. The opening will take place on Saturday 4 July at 15:30.
For this seventh time, visual artist Karin van Bodegom is also curator of the exhibition. Together, the participating artists Nico Kool, Jawek Kwakman, Hans Wilschut, Bonnie Severien, Radek Waanja, Aram Tanis, Karin van Bodegom, Ronald Ruseler, Ingrid Siliakus, Inge Bečka and Sebastiaan Bruin form a multifaceted and intriguing whole that challenges visitors to look differently at the world between concrete and green.

What were once seen as opposites turn out to be increasingly intertwined. Nature is being shaped, controlled and adapted to human needs, while cities are expanding and transforming at lightning speed. In that process, familiar structures and values disappear, and a new landscape emerges that can be fascinating and alienating at the same time. Urban Landscapes VII invites the visitor to experience these dynamics and look afresh at the environment that surrounds us every day.
The exhibition is on display Wednesday to Saturday from 11am to 4pm.
