Welcome to the Grote Kerk of Monnickendam! On 12, 13 and 14 December, we will transform the Grote Kerk into a winter paradise full of lights, conviviality and the magic of the festive season.

Friday 12 December:
There will be lots of activities especially for children on Friday afternoon from 16.00 to 20.00:

Have fun with old-Dutch games
Get your face painted
Listen to a real Christmas story
Take a photo in the sleigh with Father Christmas
Follow a fun music workshop
Ice skating in the choir of the church

Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 December:
The market will open its doors to everyone who wants to enjoy Christmas shopping, hot drinks, music and a festive atmosphere. Please note that the church can only accommodate a limited number of visitors at a time. A queue may therefore form outside. Opening hours are: Saturday 3pm to 9pm / Sunday 11.30am to 4pm.
