The Vereniging Historisch Purmerend opens the season with a special presentation by the legendary duo Henk Meines and Arent Huisman.
In their characteristic, accessible and humorous way, they will take you through the historic town centre from the 1960s onwards and show you which shops have determined the street scene over the years. Using unique and original images, you will relive the atmosphere of those days. You will see the Kaasmarkt with Foto Jan Zijp and Oosterbaan's hat shop, but also Van den Hoorn's bookshop in Padjedijk and Blekenmolen's cigar and perfume shop in Willem Eggertstraat.
A great opportunity not only to reminisce, but also to get acquainted with P3's special building.
