Fundraising for the Food Bank

On 12 September 2026, food will be collected for the Food Bank in Broek in Waterland and Zuiderwoude.

Where and when?

• Church of Broek in Waterland: 11.00 – 13.00
• Zuiderwoude Church: 11.00 – 12.00

In our region, too, many people rely on the Food Bank. Food is collected from various locations across the region and taken to Purmerend. There, a large number of food parcels are prepared and distributed every week.

What can you bring?
Non-perishable and pre-packaged items are very welcome. These might include:

• pasta, rice and accompanying sauces
• tins of meat or fish
• tins of vegetables
• soup, coffee, tea and biscuits
• shower essentials and toothpaste
