Music festival | KAASPOP
KAASPOP, the free music festival for young and old, takes place in the historic town of Edam as always. In the wider area, the festival is known as the cosiest open-air festival where you can enjoy the latest music by national and local artists.
Stages on the Kaasmarkt (Jan Nieuwenhuizenplein), the Beestenmarkt (Jan van Wallendalplein) and under the Speeltoren(Lingerzijde) offer beautiful Edam settings for a varied programme of all kinds of music styles: from jazz and blues to pop and rock. Not forgetting the Food Allee for tasty snacks and the children's programme packed with surprises for young festival-goers.
The festival is free to attend thanks to the support of the municipality of Edam-Volendam, local entrepreneurs and token sales. So bring your family, friends and children and enjoy yourself in the town!
The programme will be announced during 2026. Count on more than twenty musical acts, a creative children's programme and the real KAASPOP festival atmosphere!
