Luuk Ransijn was born in 2000 in Alkmaar, Noord-Holland, where he also grew up.

At a young age, he started doing cabaret. In spring 2019, for instance, he was the support act for Sara Kroos, and won the audience award at the Griffioen de Stoep Cabaret Festival in 2021. In the year that followed, he was part of the Cabaret Pool, a breeding ground for young comedians, and released an EP that can be listened to on Spotify and other streaming services.

In 2023, he won the AKF Sonneveld Prize in the final of the Amsterdams Kleinkunst Festival. After the finalist tour, he could be seen across the country with Cabarestafette. In season 2024/2025, he will play his full-length debut show 'Vacht' across the country.
