Nadja takes you into an absurd and imaginative story in Vaudeville style, virtuosically accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Jina Sumedi. This new show is about the power of wonder, imagination and creativity, connection with mother nature and spirituality, presenting different scenarios of our future.

Carrie is CEO of Soulshine Cosmetics in 2025. Assisted by her assistant Mimi, she struggles with menopause, insomnia, burnout and with daughter Elsje, Generation Z and climate activist. Elsje thinks it is time her mother became aware of the climate crisis, before it is too late, in terms of business, but also on a personal level. During a meditation holiday where Elsje is absorbed in nature, Carrie completely loses her way, and everything spirals out of control... In the end, Carrie is named Miss Upcycle 2052.

Transformative experiences where Nadja sometimes collapsed mentally and physically are the inspiration. With resilience and insight, she emerged from it again, like a butterfly freeing itself from its cocoon. Besides other repertoire of her own, she wrote new songs with Jina, inspired by Brazilian music and Chansons. The audience is invited to a Quiz, a short Genius Wave meditation and to sing and dance along to Gospel and a medley of well-known Pop & Soul in the festive finale.

After many sold-out theatres and standing ovations for "Vive Piaf!" and "My Wandering Heart", which focused on the past, Nadja now looks to the future of a Mad Wonderland, in a varied comic and poignant programme
